Ashleigh has been working at our school for nearly two years. She is incredibly thoughtful about her work and takes her practice as a Speech and Language Therapist very seriously. Ashleigh works with some pupils with highly complex needs, but this never phases her. She always puts their progress at the heart of her work and will seek ways in which to support the children and help them to communicate. Ashleigh’s reports are incredible and her breakdown of EHCP Outcomes into Needs and how this translates directly into targets is impeccably thought out. This has made the Annual Review process so much easier for me. Ashleigh communicates brilliantly with staff and understands that school does not always runs smoothly, and often adjustments to a planned day are required at short notice. I value her contribution to the school very highly and I know other local SENDCos who Ashleigh has worked with: we all agree that she is a superb asset to our schools and makes a tangible difference to the children she works with.
